I'm not impressed by Westerra's "customer service". I have telephoned the main number several times this morning and nobody ever answers the phone. I am a long-time member and major Westerra depositor. I was calling to arrange for the pick-up
of a large sum of cash by contacting then head teller in advance. Nobody answers the phone and this is in the middle of the morning on a business day! I don't want to listen to mindless Westerra advertisements on the telephone; I want to conduct real bank business. Westerra is also lagging behind other local credit unions in raising interest rates to an acceptable level. Bellco now offers 2.50% for major deposits. In think Westerra could perform at a way higher level to serve members.
