You need to put a bank in NNY like Watertown, NY because some of us like Trustco but hate being charged the $2.50 service fee when we need to withdraw money out all the time. Some say they are willing to transfer out if your bank and get one from up here. So you could be losing some of your customers to other banks in this area.

TrustCo is an absolute garbage option if you're trying to keep your life in order. All of these positive reviews are most likely written employees who are doing everything they can to avoid their duties on the job. In one of the locations, two employees tried to tell me that I could not submit a check because "I signed the wrong side of the check" which I have never heard before. I took it to another location and they accepted it immediately, so I know whoever I was dealing with was clearly inept and had no idea what they were talking about. Also who closes at 3pm on a Tuesday?? Like seriously. Find another bank with employees who actually know what they're doing.

I’m complaining about the manage on Dan fox drive in Pittsfield, MA. On may 20, 2018. I tried to withdraw 40.00 from my checking account from the ATM at the bank on Dan fox drive, the machine malfunctioned and couldn’t dispense my requested withdrawal. The machine had shut down. On May 21, 2018 I when to the bank to talk to them about what happen, was told on May 22,2018 I was told my withdrawal and failure by the the bank to dispense the requested. Was because the machine was jammed. In the mean time the manager charged me a 40.00$ NFS SUPPORT CHRAGE!!! You owe me 40.00!!! Either make me whole or I may take you to court

I find this bank to be very cooperative and friendly in doing business with its customers. We have used the bank for many years, including mortgage and investments and are very pleased with their cooperation service.

I have dealt with Katie, Luke and Linda at the Greenwich Trustco on many occasions. It is worth noting that I live in Mechanicville, a good 25 minutes away from Greenwich. The staff and service in Mechanciville is abysmal and that is what brought me to Greenwich. Katie was the manager in Mechanicville at one time and things were fine.

Dealing with Katie and her staff is always a pleasure. They are informed, articulate, and able to understand with no delay or difficulty the nature of my call and what needs to be done to assist me. Katie especially has straightened out a few situations involving Customer Service at the main branch. She has always been concerned about my banking needs, and more importantly, at least to me, has empathized with my situation and left no doubt in my mind whatsoever that she is concerned with me as a person as well as a customer.

Recently Luke and Linda worked with me to resolve a debit card rules issue that was limiting my use of my debit card. They were diligent and persistent in pursuing my situation with Customer Service, returned phone calls as promised, and made follow up calls as soon as they had or needed further information. Luke, on leaving for the day, briefed Linda on the progress he had made so that when I called I would get up to date information promptly.

I am so glad that I thought to call Katie the first time I encountered poor service in Mechanicville. She does an excellent job of running her branch, and deserves special commendation for training and retaining an excellent staff.
