MARY TARBOX at the Buxton branch...........pretentious, condescending and abruptly rude to the point where it almost seemed to be predatory. I realize that none of you are probably brain surgeons......but someone should tactfully suggest to this creature-feature that there are other banks in Maine and that simply because an account holder doesn't maintain a 5-figure balance with this bank, this fact doesn't necessarily mean that they don't have such a balance with their primary bank. Thank you

I've never had a bad experience at the Wells branch of SIS. All personnel are personable and helpful. I see them every month at least since I have a mortgage with them and pay in person. WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE?

I'm giving 9 stars only because I haven't experience with every aspect of the bank, so I can't speak for everything!
