Soo Line Credit Union

SLCU (Soo Line Credit Union) was established in 1926 as a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative formed to serve employees of the Soo Line Railroad. 89 years later, SLCU has expanded and now serves anyone who lives, works, worships or goes to school in Savage, Burnsville, Lakeville, Eureka Township, Scott County, or Pope County, along with employees of over 80 organizations.

Being member-owned, our main focus is on the financial well-being of each member. As a cooperative, SLCU returns its profits to its member-owners in the form of competitive dividend rates on savings and interest rates on loans, and through the expansion of services available to members, like online banking and Internet Bill Pay.

With branches in Savage, Brooklyn Park and Glenwood, SLCU is a full service financial institution, offering loan, savings and money management services to its members. SLCU is chartered by the State of Minnesota and all deposits are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) to at least $250,000.
