terrible
Those who have not failed may not have succeeded
Don't ask what others have done for you, but ask what you have done for others
I made the mistake of going to the Maynardville, TN branch to take care of my finances. Ideposited my money, I asked for assurance that I could "access the money immediately." I'm a breast cancer patient and money is a tight. "Of course you can use it just activate the card."
When I tried to buy some meds, the card was declined. I called to make sure the card was active and had at least $100.00 in the account but then was told "that account cannot be found." When I called a toll free after hours line, I was told I'd have to wait until tomorrow. Why have that line anyway??
May none of your family EVER have to go thru the night without food/cancer medications because your ORNL account "can't be found."
I have had the WORST day dealing with phone calls to comcast customer service in regards to charges on my debit card and after the 6th phone call I was made aware that there were other people making charges to my account for services that I did not request. I immediately called the ORNLFCU customer service line AFTER MIDNIGHT and was helped by an amazing young man who immediately canceled my debit card that was being charged and looked through all of my transactions for fraudulent activity. He made recommendations about receiving a new card by mail or by going to a local branch and assured me he had opened a case with the fraud department and that I would be refunded. He was the only credible person I have spoken to all day!!! I have never had an issue with ORNLFCU in my almost 10 years of using them and I will never use another banking system.
Need a no where it's not automated
I joined ORNLFCU yesterday and already everyone I have dealt with has been difficult. They are not willing to do anything beyond standing at their computer to help you. I have made two very small request and have been told both times that it either, can not be done or that I would need to come by the location. I have a full time job and small kids, I cannot drop by anytime I need any kind of paper from my bank. Customer service needs to be addressed. So far very disappointed in switching banks.
Hello I'm now live in Vermont OK ide like to know how much is in my account ok
Twenty-five years ago, the ORNL credit union acted like a true "member-owned" credit union with wonderful small-town customer service. They have had a big turnover in leadership over the years and their customer service has been horrible for years now. For the past three days, I have been trying to get a problem resolved with Member Services regarding a couple of fraudulent charges on my debit card. It is like trying to swim through mud. Their systems are constantly down and the customer service sucks.
TERRIBLE !!! Ever since my branch of ORNL left Rockwood I have had to deal with the Kingston branch. They are RUDE and inefficient when it comes to their job... I have been charged with Fees that I was never charged before, their hours are shorter and and and as if it's not bad enough that it's nearly 15 miles for me to have to drive there now from Rockwood I get charged for using the TVA ATM that they sent me an e-mail stating that TVA wouldn't charge ORNL customers for..Way to go ORNL Kingston branch !!!I just hope that someday soon the kingston branch gets shut down like the one in Rockwood !!!ORNL YOU REALLY SCREWED A LOT OF CUSTOMERS WHEN YOU CLOSED THE ROCKWOOD BRANCH !!! AND IN CASE YOU DIDN'T GET MY NAME AT THE TOP OF THIS REVIEW IT'S MARILYN HICKS !!!! I'm NOT ASHAMED TO SHOW MY NAME LIKE THE MOST PEOPLE !!!!
Location is not prepared to deal with the increased number of customers since closing the Rockwood branch
I've been a member for over 40 years and it seems that the management does not care a lot about the members.
they closed the cu in walmart rockwood and are trying to send everyone to kingston. That is to far to go for me. They told me that it wasn't generating enough business so we had to go to kingston. The kingston branch is now the only one in roane county. Anderson county has five branches. Go figure!!!@!
Everyone at this location is very nice, & friendly. I work at the Kroger, & I've never seen an unhappy customer.
Everyone is always friendly and I like how much longer they are open, which probably stinks for those working but they don't show it.
