Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and a nice bank where the tellers know you by name.

"Banking with a personal touch" means they're slow and operate more like 1918 than 2018. I opened an account years ago and initially had sporadic activity on it. But when I moved from the area, I kept the account open in case I needed funds while in Prentice. Little did I know they moved the account into "dormant" mode which means they deduct $3/mo for . . . nothing. Just for letting your money sit in the bank, which is what I thought responsible people were supposed to try to do. Went I found this out and tried to close the account, all they could do was snail mail me forms to fill out and mail back to them. No fax. No email. No "go to our website." It's as good as morse code. But, they have coffee and cookies in the bank, and now I know how they pay for them (with fees that don't make sense).

Great small town community bank. Friendly, personal banking experience every time.
